I added a short guide describing how to configure a Debian or Ubuntu based machine (eg a RPi or Armbian SBC) as a telnet server to the wiki yesterday:
https://uzebox.org/wiki/Telnet
Its a bit OT for this forum but I also wrote a guide on how to auto update your GRUB boot menu with grub-btrfs snapshots yesterday:
https://github.com/Antynea/grub-btrfs/discussions/270
I should prob do a video on how I recommend installing (Debian) Linux to benefit the most from (BTRFS/ZFS) snapshots. Any interest?

Re: Telnet wiki page
Sweet, I think some people will have fun with that for sure. So many possibilities there.
It would be nice if someone has a recommendation for a simple to setup Windows Telnet server as well. Not sure if Windows Service for Linux can do listen ports, but that seems a good option otherwise.

Re: Telnet wiki page
I think Alec has already configured Telnet under Windows so maybe he could document that on the same wiki page?
Re: Telnet wiki page
Yes, I think it was using Cygwin. It was somewhat tricky for some reasons but I will add info about how to configure it.
Re: Telnet wiki page
Added a section to https://uzebox.org/wiki/Telnet on how to configure a telnet server on windows 10 with Cygwin. If anybody has Windows and would like to validate the procedure, let me know of any issues.
