Over 40 years since the release of the C64, people are still releasing new games that push the hardware ever further. This is the ideal trajectory of the Uzebox but of course it doesn't have the privilege of being the most popular home computer ever, which is largely to blame for this phenomenon of the Commodore scene being so strong decades after no longer being available in the stores.
The recently released (cartridge only?) A pig quest is definitely one of the most impressive C64 games I've ever seen, as I'm sure you'll agree if you watch some of the videos:
