I think I searched for "AVR Basic" which lead me to what seems to be the nearest I've seen to a home computer version of the Uzebox, a single AVR chip BASIC computer:
https://www.instructables.com/Single-Ch ... -Computer/
It is running (a modified) TinyBasic Plus:
https://github.com/BleuLlama/TinyBasicPlus
Is anyone going to volunteer to port this?
TinyBasic Plus
Re: TinyBasic Plus
With the keyboard interface now, it would make more sense than in the past. If UzeboxUI or similar had it, BASIC could be a neat novelty. Personally I know I would lose interest to finish it, but the code seems portable. I'd be impressed if someone did it, but someone would need a nostalgic drive for sure.
Re: TinyBasic Plus
I'm not interested in this enough to go to the effort of trying to port it but now that there is a keyboard adapter for the Uzebox I think people will expect to be able to type 10 PRINT $NAUGHTYWORD; 20 GOTO 10 or they might get upset.
I expect a stripped down Uzebox clone of vi or emacs to appear eventually. Its as inevitable as the SID player.
