I actually think this portable (and maybe other modifications to it) should be put up for sale like the official console is. Add a feature (I posted in the Uzenet topic) to allow the Uzebox to download games online from a server (all within the portable and wifi) and you have an even more awesome device.
...Of which I want two.

Re: The quest to a portable Uzebox - update!
Update! Printed the case and all fits perfectly. So I think I can call it done.
Yeah, it's playing the 8bit trip video there, wich I didn't see in years on the Uzebo...pretty cool! Btw, for some reason CUzebox can't play it correctly. I don't know or recall if it was a known issue, I will post on the appropriate topic about it.
For the enclosure I will make two versions available. One with the embossed text and one without. I stlll need to try silkscreening for the text, would look so much better.
I will build the zip will all the info and will upload it to the main site download section, hopefully by the weekend.
I will do a poll to know who here would be interested to buy a kit with or without the 3d printed enclosure.

Thanks guys!
Very interesting, will look at this. You probably want pad printing / tampo printing
Re: The quest to a portable Uzebox - update!
I looked for pad printing Ink and it seems to be a bit hard to find in small qty online. Found this site https://screenprintsupply.com/shop/tampaplus-tpl-8-oz/. Have an idea of the sku i would need?

I have never pad printed onto a 3D print or know if it works well. From experience with silk screening and pad printing I will say pad printing is more likely to work well. PLA plastic could be a problem and you may have to print in ABS or PETG which both obviously work well with pad printing.
I got my inks from a local screen printing place. It was a one component solvent ink. However there are new UV cured inks on the market that probably better for this kind of application that will be rubbed by fingers all the time.
