Post by CunningFellow »

All,

I have just finished putting together an OpenPNP pick and place machine.

If anyone is interested in seeing a video - I can send you a link via PM.

Huh, am I understanding it right that now you have a programmable device which solders surface-mount components onto a PCB? Scary amazing! :)

Yep - I have a primitive surface mount PCB assembly robot

Mostly following the reference design from http://openpnp.org/

I'd love to see the video, Cunning. How long did that take you? Why not just upload a video on youtube btw?

PM sent.

The video I have is pretty terrible at the moment and I need to shoot a better one for the you tubes.

The current video is hosted at a location that will disappear soon, so i don't want to post a dead link. I will post a link to youtube when I have spare time to shoot a good vid.
