OK - that looks like your problem. The LVL file is meant to be 400 megabytes

The one I have here is

442601472 bytes

Love the game!

Thanks for letting me know where it was at.

Do you still have a source code repository?

That is also linked on the game's wiki page under the Source section.

Thanks, I am quite proud of where it has eventually gotten too.

The latest source code I have released is on the wiki. The current source is being tidied up and comments extensively at the moment. I am about 75% done. I will put up a new copy of the source when that and the current batch up updates to the code are done.

Hey,

I have some major problems with the game.

The .uze from the wiki dowsn't work. Everythime there's the "No level file found on SD" message. But on my SD there IS the level file.
When I use the t2k.uze file, everything works fine with the SD and the level file was found.
But with t2k.uze I have display problems. The background is distorted, also the title screen except the title "TORNADE" etc.

Using the 5.x Bootloader and a 8GB Micro SD.

Some SD/uSD cards are not fast enough to deal with the video streaming.

That could be the problem. Or the (dot)LVL file could be a different version.

To check that is the problem, you could pair up the (dot)UZE and (dot)LVL file you have in the emulator and see if it works there. It only works with CUZEM. You also need to make sure the "coderom.bin" file is present for CUZEM emulator.

If it is fine there but won't run on real hardware you need to get a faster SD card.

Well the .lvl file is ok.
But what is the difference between the .uze file on wiki and the t2k.uze file here in the forum?

Because with the t2k file the game works. With minor display problems but the level file is found.
With the one from the wiki entry it doesn't work.
Tried many SD cards as well.

The older version of T2K did not work with SDHC cards so you had to find old 2GB cards.

The newer version (that requires the latest bootloader) can work with SD or SDHC.

Regardless of version the SD card must be able to read sequential sectors with only 2 "stuff" bytes between 512 data bytes.

Many cards particularly off brand ones are not fast enough between sectors.
