today I finished my development board for my Euzebox.
The last Uzebox I built was more compact in order to use it as a standalone. So, the boxes I built before were designed to fit in some enclosures.
Now I also built a pickaback board which can be plugged onto the Euzebox. So I have a game console at first and with the second board I can develop the hardware.
The board comes with the following features: (until now)
- ISP interface
- I²C Interface with pin headers
- I²C IC socket for external ser. EEProm or LM75 Temp. sensor (e.g.: for the Thermometer app of Harty)
- Sound output with LM386 for external speaker
- RGB + HSYNC Output on pin header
- digital controller Input for Amiga, PC or C64 Joysticks and controller. (switchable between Player1 and Player2)
- MIDI IC socket
- some play arounds with video, hdmi, AD725, etc.
I've got a Playstation2 fat enclosure and I thought about it to build the Uzebox in this enclosure, but I think the PS2 enclosure is to big and has to many big holes on the front and back.
So I decided to build a naked Euzebox
