It's still a WIP.
I got the dimensions close enough to assemble it with a bit of hand grinding:
The PCB is upside down. I flipped and rewired the P2 controller to become P1.
Trying to get the connectors off with the reflow gun didn't go so well. Had to switch back to the soldering iron. That was fun (not)
I've put a 2nd LED on the same pin as the power LED but in reverse (going to VCC instead.)
So high is red, low is blue, with all the PWM shades in-between.
And setting the GPIO pin to input mode make them both glow very dim (about 1/8th brightness thanks to the voltage drop).
50% duty cycle PWM is much brighter.
So it's still possible to (almost) turn it off for a stand-by mode indicator or whatever.
You can see the LEDs in action:
Holding reset puts the pin back to input mode / high-z.

Very nice!! Cool to see you crammed all that new stuff in there. I like the simple approach for the dual color led, pretty clever I say. And kudos for the top buttons that actually works. Did you put a toggle/slide switch to turn it off?

I used microswitches similar to these with a longer shaft:
They click when you hit the shaft sideways.
It's not really how they're meant to be used but it works.
The case prevents pushing too hard on them.
I need to tweak a lot of things on that snes case. I had to grind & melt and cut too much stuff.
Need another pass but it's 5 hours just for the top piece so I have to wait for times I can keep an eye over the printer.
