Original NES Castlevania: Heart of Fire. That guy is a one man metal band. Awesome!
Re: Uze's Best of Youtube's game music covers!
Another great Castlevania cover by Charlie Parra del Riego.
Re: Uze's Best of Youtube's game music covers!
Yeah! I am also fun with metal heads!!! Rock n roll!
Re: Uze's Best of Youtube's game music covers!
Ninja Gaiden was one of my favorites NES games. Here's two great metal covers!
Re: Uze's Best of Youtube's game music covers!
Stumbled upon this metal Zelda cover. Pretty awesome!
Re: Uze's Best of Youtube's game music covers!
Just dropping by quickly (way too busy until the hollydays). The Legendary Axe on Turbografx16 was one of my favorites on the console. First level music is pretty good...could totally see a demake of that game on the Uzebox!
Re: Uze's Best of Youtube's game music and covers!
I loved my TG-16 so much. Disappointed that it didn't get wider support here in the US, but how the heck could anyone hope to compete with Nintendo/Sega during the 16-bit wars anyways?
Personal favorites from the TG-16/CD:
- Military Madness (if you've never played this, stop what you're doing and play it)
- Tricky Kick
- Wanderer's from Y's 3
- Castlevania X (obviously)
- Lords of Thunder (best F'n soundtrack ever)
I'll have to dig up a Youtube link to the Lords of Thunder music...doesn't need to be covered - it was perfect the first time.
Happy holidays Uzer's.

PS - I haven't stopped working on Escape from Dungeon...it's still in the pipeline, and I'll finish it someday.

Good music, I actually detect some small hints of Castlevania runs in there. Probably why I like it.uze6666 wrote:First level music is pretty good...could totally see a demake of that game on the Uzebox!
I never played that game but I youtubed it to see. Reminds me of Altered Beast, except it looks to be an actually good game.
Altered Beast...you powerup, so these muscles keep getting bigger and bigger, while the game then pauses make a point of the clothing ripping and getting smaller and smaller. I never wanted to play that one out to the end.
Looks to be right up my alley, I will try it posthasteFlecko wrote:- Military Madness (if you've never played this, stop what you're doing and play it)
Very nice, I am looking forward to playing your creation when it's ready!Flecko wrote:PS - I haven't stopped working on Escape from Dungeon...it's still in the pipeline, and I'll finish it someday.

Hey Guys!
I'm back, it was a rough summer with me moving and the crazy stuff at work. Anyway, I see the forums all red with new posts so it will take me some time to catch up, but I'm eager to see what happened in the few last months. In the mean time I want to share another great game music bit I bookmarked years ago and always wanted to share. It was by the Play! Orchestra and they made a world tour a couple years ago playing orchestrated game music. It's a shame I missed it when it came in Canada but oh well at least this video makes me feel like I was just there.
