RetroWiz

Post by Tinctu »

Hello.

Here is our AVR project we are working since late 2011.
It is something like UZEBOX. But with another philosophy.
It is based on J.Dvorak´s AVGA platform.
(He is also behind all RetroWiź hardware, HW designer).
I (M.Hudak) am WWW and FORUM admin, enclosure designer.
We call our platform RetroWiz. (from "Retrocomputer Wizard" or "Retrogaming Wizard").

Is there an emulator planned for this project?

Yes. We plan to have emulator (flash, java or c, c++) in future.
But first we must move from betatesting (Hardware, Firmware) and prototyping
to final stage.

Yeah those spammers are really a pain, I can relate. You have to understand that almost 100% are spambots and the capcha in phpbb is broken or cracked. You have to patch the registration page with your own unique capcha to get rid of the problem. Last year I suddenly got overloaded by spambot who crached recaptcha. Now to register, user have to type what they see in a picture of a chip. Obviously thats easy for human who knows about the uzebox they have to enter "atmega644". Machines have no chances at this point.

Probably I will do same (question or something like that). I installed recaptcha and I think it helps to filter only 20%. But still there are 10-20 spambots or spamusers per day. So I check databases...

Forgot about this neat little console and wow still no emulator?!(I am joking  ) Decided I had to buy one on ebay and check this thing out. When I finish all my uzebox projects(probably in late December 2037) I might try to port sokoban world over..if everything goes right.
