Re: Uzebox in the UK North West Computer Museum

Pretty cool to see it's going strong in the museum. And awesome promotion work too. :P

Re: Found through RA (Just found)

Hey Winco, welcome the Uzebox community! Unfortunately, I don't have kits for sale anymore since it's such a big hassle to manage a shop and handle payments and shipping. That said, if you're interested, I can certainly put up a kit for you since I have plenty of spare parts. Send me a PM if interes...

Re: Clone SNES joypad compatibility

I finally received those "slow" controllers from the supplier Dan mentioned me. I made a couple test and, well, they are weird. Using the controller tester, they initially were glitching like crazy. Then I re-plugged them in and they started to work perfectly! The next day, when I repowere...

Re: Uzebox 3D printed enclosure!

I can make a version with a tighter tolerance just for you. Takes 2 seconds because it's parametric in Fusion360. :)

Re: How To Uze

I guess it has to do with my native thong which is French. When ending a word, E is always muted. So I always pronounced Uze as yooz and not yooz-e.

Re: IKD - Atari Combat remake

it's interesting if there is a difference between LFSR on vsync and inline
.
It seems so from my analysis but the code is very clever, perhaps too much for me, so I may be wrong. I will open another topic to discuss this with CunningFellow.

Re: bintracker

Ah you're most proably right. I remember using them both at the same time but I was probably experimenting with both to do some standalone tracker and vst plug-in. My bad.

Re: TriggerCommon() vs Inline/Vsync Sound Consistency

Late reply. I also agree both should act the same. Vsync mixed was kinda forgotten after the arrival of the in-line mixer. I always wanted to get back to it but you bring a good point about simplyfing the player code. Fixing the missing voice issue on IKD, I think the noise channel works a bit diffe...

Re: Uzebox 3D printed enclosure!

I wonder if the tolerances have to be what they are so that it's never too tight on some printers? Either way it seems a bit of glue plus everything else fitting perfectly is quite a success Precisely. Although hobyist printers precision are getting better, I learned to keep some tolerances that wi...
