Really nice, Lee! The stomping works well. The only thing I'd request is a slightly larger radius on the lick (maybe I just need more practice).
Is this still going to be a tutorial game?

Re: Alter Ego
Paul, Does that mean you are back for UCC this year :) It depends if I can find graphics for a game that takes my fancy. It'd probably be a clone for that reason - I don't enjoy making graphics (and I'm terrible at it). I told Uze way back when that I was going to make Contra. I never did because i...

Re: Alter Ego
That's a really nice effect! I'll have to steal that one
And Uzenet is working? Man, how long have I been gone... UCC2016 is going to be something else.

Re: Emuze
Thanks for this, Lee!
FYI: If I recall, there is a bug in the binary search algorithm in "findGameIndex()". It was kind of overkill anyway; the linear search should do the trick It appears to work currently because the number of games doesn't trigger the bug.

Re: UCC2014: Finals Results!!
A belated congrats to all - very impressive work, guys! The entries just get better each year. And with all the new features I'm hearing about, it sounds like that trend will continue.
Joyrider was a worthy winner, but I have to admit I had a ton of fun with Holey Moley!

Re: Alter Ego
Really nice work on this one, Lee! Everything is so polished. The Level Select menu is a great feature and works so smoothly. Is 'Fake Wall' done with sprites? And what about the little pixel pickup things? Are they animated tiles? If so, they seem to appear in front of the character sprites. Can yo...

Coolness! It looks like they stripped out the border graphics, which makes perfect sense for the JAMMA version.

Re: New Game: Puzzle Wizard (IQ 130+)
Y'know Lee, I was thinking exactly that the other day! Sure, there would be some graphical compromises with many of the mechanics when in motion, but you could definitely get it working. And the puzzle data size is tiny, so that's not an issue. I'm going to try to figure out how this Desura thing wo...

CunningFellow,
I still have family in Brisbane and am there enough to be considered "in Brissy"
And no, I don't know of other Uzeboxers in Brisbane. I wasn't aware anyone else was from Australia until I belatedly caught your PM the other day (it seemed too old to respond to).
