Tron is an open source competitive game based on the 1982 film of the same name. The goal of the game is to get your opponent to crash into a wall (either the outer rim, or one the tails left behind your light cycles).
Gameplay
Once gameplay begins, you have to be quick on your controls to keep from crashing. Player 1 is blue, and starts on the left side of the screen. Player 2 is red, and starts on the right side of the screen. As your lightcycle speeds around (the white dot), it leaves behind a coloured trail based on your player colour. The object of the game is to survive for as long as possible, and to make your opponent crash as soon as possible. Whoever crashes into a wall (coloured or otherwise) first, loses. In the case of two crashes at the exact same time (for example, a cycle collision), the round is considered a tie.
Controls
- D-pad: Controls your lightcycle's direction.
- Start: Indicates you're ready to begin the match.
Todo
Possibly add speed variation.
Known Bugs
None, at the moment.
Disclaimer
I have only tested this project under the emulator so far, not on the actual box (as I don't have one yet). As far as I know, everything should be fine on the actual box, but don't blame me if something goes wrong.
