Introduction

This is a "Let's Code" style video series created by Artcfox (Matt Pandina) that starts off explaining what the Uzebox is, where you can get it, and how to set up and configure a complete development environment for the Uzebox using a Debian GNU/Linux Live ISO. Of course, the same steps also work with a permanent Debian GNU/Linux install, but for those not currently running Linux, using a Live ISO provides for a quick and easy way to try things out without making any permanent changes to your existing operating system.

There are a lot of details involved in developing for the Uzebox, and it can be a daunting task bouncing back and forth between the wiki and forums trying to soak up information, while at the same time trying to get all of your tools installed and configured properly. My intention with this video series is to let the viewer "look over my shoulder" as I start with a fresh install of Debian GNU/Linux and quickly turn it into a powerhouse for Uzebox game development.
