Lode Runner

Uze just released his latest game! Lode Runner is a remake of the classic PC/Apple II/C64 game of the same name. The player controls a character who must collect all the gold in a level while avoiding guards who try to catch him. There are 50 levels in the game which progressively challenge players’ problem-solving abilities or reaction times. Flavio Zavan just released Uze Feud! It is very similar to Family Feud, it supports up to 8 families, it has original music, art, random families, some controller detection to speed up the set up. questions are from the Family Feud for SNES Walkthrough and contains 295 different questions. Uze snakes

Flavio Zavan (aka Nebososo) release his second Uzebox game, an implementation of the classic Snakes game. Using video mode 9 (the highest resolution mode so far at 360×224), it includes 1 and 2 players support, 4 different modes, 3 mazes, 6 items and original music and sprites. Adrastos released his latest Uzebox game. Tron is an open source competitive game based on the 1982 film of the same name. The goal of the game is to get your opponent to crash into a wall (either the outer rim, or one the tails left behind your light cycles). It is the first game to use “video mode 8″, a bitmapped mode that allows control of each pixel on the screen. The HEX file is here, the UZE file is here, and source are here.

Flavio Zavan (aka Nebososo) just released his Uzebox first game! Corrida Nebososa is a racing game that pits you against you friends or the computer. The game features fours original songs and you can even create your own tracks and save up to two of them at the same time in just one EEPROM block. Sokoban World

The Uzebox community is on fire lately pumping out games like there’s no tomorrow! Lee Weber (D3thAdd3r) released Sokoban World, an awesome port of the Pc Engine game of the same name. Sokoban World is a logic game where the player must push blocks onto targets, whilst avoiding “trapping” a block. Players progress through sets of 50 levels making up 5 worlds, ranging from America to the South Pole, each with it’s own music and graphics. Uzebox Schematics Revision E1 Released

A long due update of the reference design and parts lists has been completed today. The most notables changes are the replacement of the video DAC with the AVCore weighted model and the removal of the obsolete MIDI IN interface (nobody ever used that right?). Adrastos is back with his new game Ruby Crush, a clone of the popular Bejeweled. The goal is to get at least 3 gems of the same type in a horizontal or vertical row. It is currently single player, with two modes: Classic and Timed. Get the HEX here and the game’s Wiki entry is here!
