How do I build the Uzebox kernel, etc.?

Hi,

I downloaded the source code, but there is no Makefile in it. Please point me the instructions how to build it.

Thanks.

Hi,

If you download uzebox_src_3.1.zip or uzebox_bin_Win32_dev_trunk_r168.zip there a makefile in the root of those zips. Just run make and it will build everything.

Oops...Sorry didn't see that. Was looking for the Makefile in the kernel dir. Thanks!

I've not any luck with this. Downloaded uzbox_src_3.1.zip and get the below errors when trying to compile on WINDOWS platform. What is the SDL thing? Thanks.

c:\AVR\projects\uzebox_src_3.1>make
make -C tools/uzem DEST_DIR=c:\AVR\projects\uzebox_src_3.1/bin/
makefile:127: *** The SDL library not found. Make sure you have it in C:\SDL. S
top.
make: *** [tools/uzem] Error 2

c:\AVR\projects\uzebox_src_3.1>which make.exe
C:\AVR\WinAVR-20090313\utils\bin\make.exe

SDL is a multi-platform graphics library. It is required for the emulator. Check out how to build the emulator to install MinGW and SDL.
