Release Notes:
- Each end-of-level boss now has subtle strategy variations
- Final boss has variable shot speed and behavior. Makes for a sterner challenge.
- Added attribution screen when the game boots.
- Added game release version string on the attribution screen.
- The final level bonus is multiplied by the lives remaining. The base value is now 200 instead of 500.
- Compiled with latest kernel.

If you want to check out the changes but don't want to play the entire game, feel free to use the god mode builds.
I could play the normal game up to the final boss. The five bosses sure became more interesting!

At the final boss I couldn't even clear away the turrets (even though I had 6 lives to start with), the top turret on the bottom side fires too fast for my capability to time my moves. Sure not impossible, but I possibly won't be able to do it. The uppermost and the lowermost turrets can be dispatched by angled fire, that's OK for something for the player to figure out and have a little rewarding success.

v3.0 of Iros is now released inluding the features below. I've updated the original forum topic entry and wiki page:

(v3.0)
- Added JAMMA compatible ROMS
-- 3 lives per credit
-- Infinite continues
-- 10 second continue countdown.
-- Continue countdown acceleration option.
-- Adherence to Softswitch DIP switch standard.
- Improved scoring balance.

Sadly, I couldn't test the JAMMA ROMS on hardware, but they work fine in the emulators.

I updated Iros on the Online Player. I did not include the JAMMA version. Should I add it also?

Thank you! No, no need to add the JAMMA version online as it won't be playable without two controllers
as the second controller handles the coin inserts as per the JAMMA controller layout.

This game is so nice and I really like the soundtrack. My only point of amelioration: I noticed over the releases that the music and sounds are way too quiet (say compared to Megatris). I'd look to normalizing sound output in a future release if possible. Keep up the great work! :P

Amelioration - "The act of making something better; improvement" Never came across the term before but I love the definition :D Thank you for the complement and I will endeavor to improve the sound balance in a next release. I think this game needs a bit of game play diversity and surprise to make it better. When I figure out what that might be, I'll improve the audio balance too.
