New PCB rev on the horizon

Topics regarding the Uzebox hardware/AVCore/BaseBoard (i.e: PCB, resistors, connectors, part list, schematics, hardware issues, etc.) should go here.

Hi Uze,

do you have a schematic for the connection between ATMEGA and ESP8266 module?

I assume:

- UART (TXD and RXD)
- GND
- 3,3V DC ???

Best Regards

Hartmut

Hi Harty,

I'll post the schematic tonight when back from work.

Cheers!

Hi Harty, here's the schematic. It uses 2 more line to control the ESP12: one to reset the module and the other to initiate serial firmware update. Note that firmware update has not been tested yet so I don't even know if it is going to work.

Thx for your reply. I will create an application note for the EUzebox. The actual pcb have a breadboard area. Its very easy to solder and wire an ESP module there. I will try to use this module:
