Setting up an emulator on Mac Snow Leopard

Post by barrysfarm »

I'm trying to set up some sort of emulator environment on mac, and I'm not exactly sure where to start. I've downloaded uzem-1.09mac.zip and not sure what to make of the files. It says an executable is included, but i'm not sure what file that is. Is it the makefile? or maybe avr8? When I run the make I get "make: `avr8' is up to date.". I'm not sure what that means, or if said something different when i first ran it. I don't get any extra files or anything once it's run.

I'm not really that much of a beginner (perfectly comfortable in the command line), but I rarely have to compile anything.

Another question:
I've got the source files for a game. What is the process to compile it? Do I use XCode?
