AD725 woes

Hi,

I'm trying to get an AD725 working for a project. However both of the ones I got have the same fault - no luminance output on the luminance and composite outputs. Chrominance is fine.

Does anyone know what would be causing this? I ordered them from Farnell (AU$16 a piece mind you... ouch).

Seems really a bad luck that both chip would be broken in exactly the same manner. But I never experienced this issue, can't help much on this one..

A few years ago I bought two, they only worked for a few minutes before the luminance failed. I wonder if Farnell's batch is bad.

Has anyone else bought these from Farnell?
