as the title says, as a beginner I find it a cool book it is 333 pages and has everything explained in simple english, even touches on the old style C and the new conventions that replaced them book was written in 2007 so it recent enough to be useful, just thought I would pass it on the link is : http://publications.gbdirect.co.uk/c_book/.
