Just to let all those mac users know, I've found a convenient workflow for creating and deploying tiles. Using Pixen (
http://opensword.org/Pixen/) to design tiles is convenient. On surface level usage, it's shown to have most of the tools needed. Also convenient is the fact that you can install the uzebox color palette. It's only major flaw is the fact that it lacks a raw/c source export. This is solved with Eric Anderton's python .png to .c script. (
http://uzebox.org/wiki/index.php?title=Python_Script_for_Generating_Tile_Data) Using a simple workflow combining these two pieces of software, tile development is fairly simple.
