I'm seeing this that there's a tool called PatchTool.hex referenced in the wiki article Sound Effects Another Way, but I can't find it. Is it something that can be released at this moment?

Thought I had put a hex up I guess I didn't...I'll put the latest up when I get home. It's usable, version 0.8 I say, not much to add just a couple bugs with noise effects.

Caught me in the middle of a development switch over to ubuntu, I'll try and get that out this weekend.

Man, what I would have done for this tool back in the day. This is a really nice idea.

Ok had time to get myself back together somewhat. Here is the latest version which is pretty usable, hopefully the controls aren't too cryptic for people(hard to write a tool for a joypad!). Let me know any bugs you find, and any features you think would be useful.

Edit: note that the documentation will be changed and improved somewhat, it could be a little confusing at the moment.

Hey Lee, why note use video mode 9 for the tool? At 60x28 you could fit those command names non abbreviated...

Good call Alec. Originally had some extra plans I needed ram tiles for but it would be just useless bells and whistles. I will release a updated version soon!
