WIP Football manager

Post by Kilo »

Hey,

I am working on a new game. Football Manager!
Actually more out of boredom and just for fun, but I wanted to see how far can I get if I make a more or less text-based football manager like old times C64 and Amiga.

The game is partly in german and also includes only the German Bundesliga. First I will look how far I get, then I could build other leagues as a game!

The last digit of Pi is 7! I calculated this, as I counted to infinity yesterday!

Mhh... I think that will not work with the football manager.
I've found out that the space isn't enough for that.
Only the data for 18 teams as well as the calculation of the Fixtures and Table is tooooo complex to put it in the Atmega :( :( :(
But I'm not giving up. I look around in the internet for a simple Manager written in Basic to know simple calculations for the fixtures.

Well, I'm also thinking about a retro simulation like Hanse, MULE, Kaiser, OIL Imperium, etc. But I'm not really sure which game I could take!

I've found the d64 and prg File (an emulator file) for the Manager Game for C64...
But I can't extract a sourcecode :(

Those are binary images so the best you will get from them is all the data and the uncommented machine/asm code. I wonder though why the Uzebox can't do the game, we have unlimited data storage and a faster processor than c64.
