Clay's Demos/Games

Post by havok1919 »

Since Dave's been looking for things to try in his emulator, and since everything else is kinda spread all over I'm going to post links to all my released stuff in one spot here. Feel free to download and try on Uzebox hardware or emulator or whatever...

Maze game-- maze game included with all kernel distributions in Mode 0
http://www.embeddedengineeringllc.com/U ... s/maze.hex

Race Demo-- First experiment with Mode 1 (Sprites + background, vertical scroll, background animation)
http://www.embeddedengineeringllc.com/U ... s/race.hex

Graphics Demo 2-- second demo with Mode 1 (Sprites + background, H and V scroll, background animation)
http://www.embeddedengineeringllc.com/U ... /demo2.hex

Halloween2008-- Full demo with background music in Mode 1 (Sprites + background, H and V scroll, sprite animation, BGM)
http://www.embeddedengineeringllc.com/U ... en2008.hex

ESD Attack!-- Full game done for test code for AVCores sold by SparkFun in Mode 1 (Sprites + background, H and V scroll, sprite animation, sound effects, line scroll)
http://www.embeddedengineeringllc.com/U ... Attack.hex

Moon Patrol-- work in progress/proof of concept for game in Mode 1 (Sprites + background, H, sprite animation, BGM, Hscroll regions, fauxrallax scrolling.) ;-)
http://www.embeddedengineeringllc.com/U ... P_wip4.hex

I'll just add to this list when I do more.

The Halloween 2008 demo never gets past the bloody Uzebox logo on my hardware, although it works fine in the emulator. Is this because I don't have any joypads connected, and it's waiting for some kind of joypad signature? I'm still waiting for the mailman to deliver those...

I just noticed the XGS tombstone in the graveyard scene... nice. :)

I don't think it waits for input. It just keeps going.

It may be just that, since for those who didn't know, in the next scene you can somewhat control the bats with the joypad. I'll check tonight with no joysticks plugged.

Confirmed. Demos resets after the bleeding logo if no gamepad is plugged!
