NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
Nice! Beware to not put the holes to close together. Consider the width of the SNES plugs and leave a bit more.
Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
Yes, you are right uze6666, that's why i make some try and fail and want to learn autocad by myself (it is free for 3 years if you say you are a student ) and i don't have the Tools right now to do the tests of cutting
Also, i have to admit that i learn a lot....

Still looking forward to building one of these things! Have any progress updates happened?
Also, where did you get those female 90° SNES connectors from?neslou wrote:I have received my samples (SNES Connectors / and 5 Boxes) from my selected sources company.

Hi D3thAdd3r,
Sorry for this late answer.. I have made a pause since the birth of my third children, a girl for the first time .
I will (i hope) continue the project sooner..
Regarding the SNES right Angle connector, it is normal connectors and i have just asked them to do the job to curve the connectors...
I have to contact them also because that was only free samples (i have paid just the shipping) and i remember to have a lot of difficulty to find them..
They sell only in quantity (too much for my own need).
Regards.

Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
Depending on the quantity and price, we could maybe do a group buy. I could certainly grab 500+.
Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
Hi Uze,
Yes it could be a good idea (we should also take care about shipping and taxes).
I will search on my email and i will coming back soon.

Edit : Just find my last discussion with my supplier :
"
price is 0.75 USD MOQ is 100 pcs.
price is 0.55 USD MOQ is 1000 pcs.
Shipping cost will be given to you after your confirmation of quantity."

Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
Hello,
Just to say that i continue my hardware travel with this time the idea to put the uzebox in a GameBoy Classic enclosure .
I have just received two 3.5 LCD PAL/NTSC rear car monitor to make some tests...
To be continued because even if the little TV need 12V... it seems that in fact, it only need 5V...

Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
Yes, some revisions of that LCD screen can be powered with 5V. Saw that on the net and tried it and it works. You have to apply power directly on some pads of the driver PCB though.
Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
I didn't succeed in connecting directly my NUzebox on these little screen...(i don't have the AD725 chip on my pcb).
I will build or buy if they are still in sell a Uzebox official in order to continue my travel

Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
Finally, After some months... a friend of mine recreate the plastic part for the SNES Connector...
I would like to know if there is a newer version of the Uzebox Schematics please since i don't follow the forum for a long time.. I will use the more recent one for my 17*17cm PCB (Uzenet? SPI Ram?)
Regards.

In the same time, i have think of taking a Thin mini-itx case would be a more nicer option with silkscreen etc.. as i did for my own mini-pc..
Here is some other pics...
I will redraw the schematics in order to have a 17*17cm PCB.. more space to add a frequency clock divider, and also i am trying to put the CXA1645PM for the video encoder in DIP Package.I would like to know if there is a newer version of the Uzebox Schematics please since i don't follow the forum for a long time..
