Topics regarding the Uzebox hardware/AVCore/BaseBoard (i.e: PCB, resistors, connectors, part list, schematics, hardware issues, etc.) should go here.

After reading some others posts, maybe my video glitches are due to the use of AVR644P ?
Harty123, do you have the same problems with the 644P on yours SCART Boards?
Thanks in advance.

The board looks nice, and another version is always cool. I wish I had experience in that kind of thing.

Methinks you should assemble that EUzebox PCB you have laying around for experimentation ;)

Yes D3thAdd3r!
I have bought 2 EUzebox boards to Harty and during this time, i have study and do my homework in order to learn Eagle and to make my own version in order to fit the PCB in a 12*12cm box...
I enjoy the Uzebox project, so that's why i going to do my best to tell this excellent stuff for french people for instance...
I don't have much experience, i started electronics last year but i am passionnate..
Also, i know nothing for the moment in programming C etc... but i will make some try after :D
Uzebox project is very cool and everybody working with arduino for blinking some led should have a look at the Uzebox, more fun, more programming and real building block for developping various kinds of knowledge..

Pretty nice work I say for someone with a year experience! You already did a PCB so thumbs up. The kind of image you are getting does not remind me of anything related to the 644P. I suspect either your TV or something wrong on the PCB along the path carrying the sync signal. As Lee suggested, I'd build the EUzebox to rule out the TV issue.

Yes, you are right, i will build the remaining Euzebox that i have in order to see exactly what's wrong.. (that's also the reason why i bought 2 of them :D ) be able to have a reference (PCB / Components etc to trust on before building one from scratch..)
Many thank's also for your advise regarding the path with the sync signal, i will check all these things tomorrow.
Regards and thank you for your response.

I make a try this morning with success..
I have received from Atmel some samples of AVR644 (Not the AVR644P :D ), so i decided to use my Universal Programmer to read the AVR644P already programmed in order to flash my blank one from the sample...
And it works!!!!! :D
No changes have been made except the use of the AVR644. Image is now stable..So, if some of you have the problem, have a try..I will note it for later write some informations.

Great work so far neslou! What are your plans in the future as far as possible deviations from the reference design? Obviously you're using the scart connection instead of the rca connections, anything else?

Hi all
I am searching some help for preparing the placement of the snes connector. This is the first time i have to do some hole on ABS plactic and i don't know where to start, and i have no Tools..
May i have to use 3D software? Any guidelines would be grandly appreciate..
Also, i am thinking of how to solder them on the pcb? maybe on later revision i will put some hole + some sort of terminal screw connectors?
Regards.
