Seems the D3thAdd3r theme is trending ;) . The first unit will use it after all. Lucky one is Nicksen782!

This is a great start! It looks like you cover all bases in the outline. It just needs more pictures and maybe some write-up to explain certain things.

I would like to use this as a base for the tutorial I'll be doing. It would be great to have a series of video clips (combined into one and timestamped) for each part of the build. Perhaps a Youtube video with a series of links that jump to the specific sections of the video. I could use still images from the video for the pictures in the guide.

I have my portable! Thanks, Alec. Great build quality too.

I've been playing my new (wip) card game on it. I have mostly used the online emulator but having a handheld just makes it all feel different. I like!

The red and black looks really good!

Hey guys, FYI, I've now uploaded all STL files on the main site: http://uzebox.org/files/downloads/uzebo ... stl_v1.zip. Don't know why I forgot theses! :?

So I've finally assembled my first uzebox portable :)

And a work in progress pic of that one and a second one that's still ongoing

It's been fun putting it together. Definitely more involved than your standard uzebox, but all the better for it. My assembled piece isn't perfect by any means. I'm yet to get the network going (but haven't followed the upgrade instructions for the ESP in the assembly guide, so that's on my to do list) and for some reason, the device switches on automatically when I insert an SD card, and won't switch off until I remove it  Got some wires crossed there. But looking forward to debugging it all. Learning quite a bit as I go along. But it's fully functional otherwise. Thanks uze!

Interestingly, the most challenging part for me is sourcing the correct size screws locally. I've got some that are 'fairly close' but not spot on. A bit to big and it breaks off the pillars, and a bit too small and it's useless. Turns out 2.6mm is not a common width down here. Right now my assembled portable is only held together by luck it seems. I'm sure I'll get it figured out though.

PS. uze, I believe the BOM is missing a 100uf capacitor for C23.
