Cheap logic level circuit

Post by uberlinuxguy »

So, I was curious if one could make a bi-directional logic level converter with through hole components kind of on the cheap and I came up with http://letsmakerobots.com/node/34444

uze6666: Thoughts? Might be a good/cheap way to isolate the SD card on the SPI Bus... :D Just a thought.

So you still have issues with the sd card or resistor network? I though it was due to bad wires on your proto board...

I do still have odd issues, but I am about to put the bad wiring suspect to bed. I designed a small board to mount the chip(s) on since for the most part, the circuit works. If it still fails, I am going to remove the resistor net and wire in a level converter. But I do still suspect wiring after today's tests. So 12ish days for the board. I might be asking for a new bread board and better jumper wires for my birthday. :D
