Source code management

Post by kiba »

I think it is a good idea to use a source code management tool to manage the Uzebox codebase and make collaboration easier for developers.

I suggest the tool git and github as git host.
I run the Libregamewiki free as in freedom gaming encyclopedia.

I also have a personal game development website.

ok, totally agree with you, as the project becomes bigger we need to organize the contributors in some kind of hierachy, creating a development team for every project (games, graphic engines, hardware, etc), and putting all the code in the same place.
In this sense, some tools are needed to avoid duplication of efforts. I think that, for example, two people designing two different SD interfaces for the uzebox makes no sense.

Yeah I know. Just did not have time for that. I will use SourceForge. Just need to set it up... soon. Don't care for the hardware "governance', I'm already taking care we all walk the same direction.
