VIXEN looks good. Like HACKVISION on steroids. Can you make PAL version too? BTW can you post your all 4 game systems? Youtube, pictures? Are you replaying MOD or WAV in demo? Maybe add some DAC for fine audio playback...

Thanks!

I have made a few changes to my project.
Now that I am working out a source for an order of 1000 SNES receptacles, I will be using the SNES controller instead of the built in switches. After some testing, I found the built in buttons were just not really all that functional. It was too easy to accidentally press a side button when going up or down. I then tried the 5 position switch, but it seemed too low quality and the little plastic top wasn't available. So now I am back to a board with a SNES connector. It's a tossup between the SNES or the NES for me as I have secured a source to make lots of 1000 connectors at a time.

The advantage to the SNES con is that it is used by the UZEBox, so I could offset the cost of 1000 by offering the receptacles for sale.
The advantage of the NES con is that it is used by Hydra, so the same thing applies.

The SNES Tomee controllers seem to handle a little better than the square NES controllers, so I am aiming that way right now.
As for PAL, I would imagine that it could be done quite easily with a clock speed change. I don't have access to a PAL set, so I doubt I will ever try it myself.

I have had almost no free time to mess with electronics lately, but am still forging ahead ever so slowly on the release of my system and website.
I don't have docs or vids on the 3 other systems yet, but here is a link to some of my more rudimentary work using AVRs to make game systems....

Built using only 7400 logic chips, and using an AVR as the "game cartridge"....

Hope to add a whole lot more to my new site when I have the time. But time is always the problem when the real world gets in the way!
