Given that the current uzeboxen are all running the 644 chips, but will eventually migrate over the the 1281 (or was it 1284?) which would be the uzebox proper, not to mention any potential uzebox successor, I was thinking it might be a good idea to be proactive and set up a proper naming convention now to help avoid future confusion.
I'm not meaning to suggest any names in particular or even that its necessary, that's Uze's choice after all, just something I though might be benefitial in the long run -- particularly in establishing what software will run on which hardware.
If I were to suggest names, they would be something along the lines of:
'644 Uzebox:
Uzebox classic
Uzebox proto
Uzebox lite
'1281 Uzebox:
Uzebox
Uzebox plus
Uzebox AVR
Uzebox successor:
Uzebox II
Uzebox 16 (if 16bit)
Uzebox 32 (if 32bit)
Uzebox Ultra
