I found that information spread about several forum topics make it very difficult to keep straight as to what it is going on.
Maybe we need a wiki to organize all these information?

Re: Wiki?
Good idea. I think its is the list of installable apps of my provider. However, If I put one online would you like to set it up or at lest help me getting started? I don't have much knowledge with Wikis.

Re: Wiki?
You will need to install anti-spam extension at some point. I recommend ConfirmEdit. Even though it have pitifully weak captcha, most bots aren't designed to solve math problems. However, it only keep most spammers away so it is probably a good idea to use other anti-spam extensions in conjunction.
P.S: We need a copyright license for the wiki!

Re: Wiki?
I was thinking of ways to allow folks who built their own Uzebox (or eventually developed games with the stamp+baseboard) to easily share their work. It struck me that we could use the Wiki for that! In other words, project pages. By revamping the project's homepage we could even show all projects, project of day, etc. Nice. As a community project, such a community tool would seem perfect uh?

Re: Wiki?
I can forsee people wanting to retain copyright of their own works, even if the work is 'open'. (AKA, not placed in the public domain, just shared. Some might want to be free for non-commercial purposes, but licensed for commercial use or whatever...) I'm not sure how much the GPL poisons that or not...uze6666 wrote:For what purpose, and of what kind?

Re: Uzebox Wiki
Yeah, the wiki would just be a "window" to their work. Anything published in there should be FOSS though (images, text), but they could link to their own site for the sources or binaries. No problem with me. It's just more convenient for both users an me. No need to personally add all content. If anybody is aware of FOSS that would be better suited for the task than a wiki, let me know. I'll see with my provider if it can be installed.
