Re: Sinclair ZX81 clone with ATMEGA644

Great find. Emulating a Z80 on a AVR is no mean feat. I've still got a ZX81 and the later ZX Spectrum. It would be serious cool, if they was enough processing cycles in the AVR to emulate the Z80 and run the Uzebox kernel to give us a hardware emulation of the speccy but I don't think the AVR has en...

Re: Uzem on Raspberry Pi

The Raspberry Pi is a project I've been following for sometime and while I don't think its got the simplicity of the Uzebox it would be a cool development platform if we could get the AVR tools and Uzem working on it.

Re: Thinking about STMUzebox

I've used Keil with GCC for my ARMee LCP2106 project back in 2005 and it worked well.
CrossWorks for ARM from Rowley Associates is a nice ARM development system I've used in the past. There have a personal / non-commercial licence for $150

Cool, Farnell are awaiting stock of the STM32F4DISCOVERY. I'll have to slip one into my next order :-)

we have a lot of excitement here, could the STM32F4 be the Uzebox32?

Re: Thinking about STMUzebox

@vaclavpe
well done. I've been waiting for the STM32F4-DISCOVERY boards to become available in the UK. I think I'll definitely be buying one now.

It would be cool if we could get your circuit on a AVCore or stamp like board. :-)

Re: Thinking about STMUzebox

I just put in an order for an STM32 F4 Discovery board from Mouser. At $14.88 I couldn't resist. I know this was something the OP was avoiding but I decided for the price it was just too tempting to try one out. Cool, someone has stock. I had read ST are giving the STM32 F4 Discovery board away for...
