Re: CTHN Christmas party
In the third picture I saw a VGA connector on an EUzebox board. How is this possible?

Re: Atxmega NEW powerkill CONSOLE
They are *very* hard to get. Two years ago I joined a group buy with Ladyada and other folks to buy a lot from a Hong-Kong supplier somebody found (I think the maker of the Retro-Duo). Unfortunately the MOQ is like 2000 at 1$ piece! If you need just a pair send me a PM and we can arrange something....

Re: Uzebox enters the matrix!
Wow! :o That's really impressive. I'm not a really techy guy but that sounds awesome! I think that a nice way to implement the SPI interface for the module would be putting a rise card between the MCU and the rest of the board. BTW, Have you seen the WIZ820IO modules? They are pretty well-fitted for...

Re: Atxmega NEW powerkill CONSOLE
Dude, overclockin' it's your middle name! 72-32 = 40 Mhz of difference! DO NOT STOP WORKING!
BTW, what resolution are you going to use in the final design? Because having a clock of 72 Mhz gives a pantagruelic resolution with the VGA standard.
Have fun while developing!

I hate you, Mast3rbug, because now I'm in a hospital with my jaw dropped to the floor.
Now, seriously, good job Mast3rbug!
It seems like you've approached nirvana with that idea with the buffer.

Re: Homebrew 68k computer
WOW! That's amazing. I'm green with envy but drooling at the same time  . I wish I could do something like this, but being 14 years old doesn't help. Your board looks pretty cool, I could never do something like that, I feel like I'm god when I poke arround with EAGLE. And BTW I see some in...

Really cool . Keep it up! and, BTW, add ome kind of feature so you can jump off from the ladders. It's a pain in the butt!
Also, nice tileset. Fits really well with the game.

Re: Why does the Euzebox work at all?
Hi,
The Euzebox doesn't work in a PAL-only TV. The thing is that it outputs bare RGB singals through the SCART plug to the TV, so if the TV is NTSC-capable it will output video clearly. Normally all new TV's come with NTSC capabilyties.
Hope that helps.
