Re: it -kinda- works :)
I think you are the first to build one. I haven't tried to build one yet because I am working on the Ethernet interface. I know it's weird building an interface for it without having one but whatever. As for the SD interface it isn't that hard. One similar interface is an mp3 player found here http:...

Re: OK, new idea. (UZEBOX Stamp?)
I have been doing some software for this but I have yet to test it. My programmer is broken so I have to order a new one.
I think we can reduce the amount of code on the Uzebox by adding a small server side script, maybe JAVA.

I assume this means you decided to go with my idea for Ethernet and not the XPort.uze6666 wrote:ENC28J60/Magjack
I like all of your decisions. I agree long term this configuration will work the best. I also like the idea of using jumpers to be able to disable things like midi.

I agree with Uze always look for improvements. The AD723 sounds like a great improvement.

Re: OK, new idea. (UZEBOX Stamp?)
I agree with all of those as standards. This would make the game development much easier to do.

Re: OK, new idea. (UZEBOX Stamp?)
As psyjax said we would need to make standards with this type of board. You must think about the software development side of things. When you have so many modded Uzeboxes then how can you write software and expect users to use it? You would have to write software different for all of the Uzeboxes a...

Re: OK, new idea. (UZEBOX Stamp?)
An Uzebox stamp would be cool in the development stage but I couldn't see it being functional for long term use. The only way I could find this functional would be if you had a plug and play system meaning you could plug in something like the Ethernet and it would add the code automatically. This wa...

I would have to look into it a bit further but it sounds like a possible option.

Re: Thanks for Licensing under the GPL and CC BY-SA
With the kits I think we could get an even bigger group of people to work on the project.
