Re: Spreading the word

That seems odd as many programmers got started because of their interest in video games. There are only so many blinking leds, spinning motors, weather stations, and home made apple 1s' people can look at before we want games.

Re: updates

ARM will likely never be an option. I toyed with the idea myself for a while but the biggest issue is that binary compatability would be broken. Also there is only one pdip ARM chip out there and it is almost impossible to get ahold of. I have often thought that making one with like 8 or more AVR ch...

Re: Synchronization and Simple Networking

I use a cheap $60 scope they work ok. It is good for 10V and 50mhz which should in theroy cover most MCU stuff. Its not professional grade and its really just a modified sound card but it has been better than nothing.

Re: Mame cab build.

Sorry to hear about the eyes. I like to cut/grind/weld/build air suspension stuff and I don't like safety glasses...so I know your pain. It's because "oh it will just be quick, just get it done"...then it hurts :x The cab is looking good and completion looks to be around the corner, keep ...

Re: Mame cab build.

Progress has slowed a tad. Two weeks ago I got metal shards into my eye working on trim for the cab. It took a good 5 days to recover from that. Since then it has been pretty nice here so I've been spending time with my 3yo daughter. The speakers have been implanted into the cab, but I wasn't carefu...

Atmel Studio and Windows 8.1

Any of you tried Atmel studio 6.2? I can't get projects that compile just fine on my win 7 x64 to compile on my wife's win 8.1 tablet. I'm going to try to roll back to an older version of Atmel studio in a sec, but if any of you have had issues with win 8 let me know so I may save some time trying t...

Re: Spreading the word

I would put a sticker on my car. I also put a post in the raspberry pi forums today.
