Re: Lightgun Ideas

Sitting here with no way to program at the moment, so my second favorite hobby of imaginatory technical rants kicks in! If lightgun games are to be made, the emulator needs to support it. The zapper won't work with the Uzebox as-is due to a lack of wires the NES had(trigger and sense). This means th...

Re: Keyboard and Mouse Support

Try out the newly fixed commit for Uze-A-Move, that one certainly would benefit! The idea of 2 mice is interesting, and would have more use cases than multiple keyboards. Zombienator will be the ultimate mouse game mark my words! Actually think of Whack-A-Mole...that would be a cool cooperative game...

Re: Hyperkin SNES mouse issues

If you get a chance to take a few pictures of the oscilloscope I bet some people would find that interesting in a wiki article 8-)

Re: WIP: Uze-A-Move

And assuming I get reports back that the bugs have been squished, this game really needs different music between the title screen and actual gameplay. The presentation would jump up a lot just by more that, but I'm not sure what to do. cosam I assume made all original graphics? Not sure where the ex...

Re: WIP: Uze-A-Move

Feel free to commit it. Nice! Once it's verified at least playable I'll do that. I just added a commit which I think fixes all the game breaking bugs. It didn't need an extended angle table, ended up just wrapping the signed angles in abs() and this seems correct for all use cases in gameplay and s...

Re: Look who's finally bought a genuine SNES controller?

Interesting, it appears those came with some versions of the Retron Duo. On my local ebay there are still some sold as that for a bit more than half the (same?) one listed as Hyperkin, though they come in a plastic sleeve with no box. I purchased a small stockpile of the red/black version for the il...

Re: Compile Sokoban World

Hmmm, swear I'm not drinking. Well I take it back, what I said previously was wrong and I guess I somehow broke the kernel :? I'll pull a fresh copy and add the flags back.

Why am I digging around in old games anyway? Well Sokoban with a mouse, where has that ever been seen!

Re: Compile Sokoban World

Oh found a really big bug, can't believe I hadn't noticed it. Since the switch the the inline mixer, all the noise instruments are silent. Need to rework all MIDI to play on the correct channel. Found this was also the case with Uzesweeper, and I think that's that last of things I need to worry abou...

Re: WIP: Uze-A-Move

Thanks for testing. This one also seems like a prime candidate for mouse support, so maybe I'll take a stab.

Re: How To Uze

I think that voice is pretty good. For no particular reason, attached is the TTS(Google API) we use at work for automated voice messaging. I think the voice you are using has more "life" to than the Google ones.
