Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
The best drawing I've found is this one. That said it looks like it'll be petty tough to just estimate with a Dremel.

Re: Ghosty Ghost
Thanks, glad you enjoy it. It's complete from a gameplay perspective but if you notice any bugs or have suggestions I'm always open. Soon as I can I'll try to get the Uzenet aspect working but until then there probably won't be much in the way of news unless I patch some bugs or something.

Re: Ghosty Ghost
Nice button graphics make it very intuitive, not much else to suggest, it's perfect. Good. The biggest problem with designing an interface is that, as the designer, it all makes sense to you. So it's very hard to have an unbiased look at the overall flow and difficulty of it. I liked my original A ...

Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
I am searching some help for preparing the placement of the snes connector... Obviously it's your design and you can do it however you want, but that sounds like an awful lot of work. The way it's done on the reference design has worked well for me so far. Just place a nice amount of solder on each...

Re: NUzebox - Uzebox Neslou's Edition :-)
Great work so far neslou! What are your plans in the future as far as possible deviations from the reference design? Obviously you're using the scart connection instead of the rca connections, anything else?

Re: Ghosty Ghost
New gghost beta download on the main post. Small update. If you don't have the uzenet module, or you're running it in the normal emulator, it should look identical actually. If you are running on hardware with the module though, the new features are a little more obvious. If it detects a uzenet modu...

SFXR Like Program
Looked very (emphasis very) briefly at the source to sfxr on github and saw it uses the same basic waveforms as the Uzebox (sine, square, sawtooth, and noise). Since patches take up much less room than PCM sound effects and multiple of them can be played on different channels simultaneously, I think...
Re: Uzenet
The 8266 and I have gone round and round this weekend and for now I give up. Without a hardware debugger or any way to see the UART traffic it's too difficult to tell what is happening and where things are going wrong. Just a bunch of stab in the dark and hope. On the upside I have the visual interf...

Re: Ghosty Ghost
I had to check out a video of this game everyone is talking about...never played it but...meh  ^quoted 3/27/2014 in regards to Flappy Bird :D That really is pretty funny. Glad you enjoy it. I find myself spacing out and play testing far longer than I intend to sometimes. I also get distracted ...

Re: Ghosty Ghost
Alright, I promise I'll actually finish up the high score stuff... soon... ish. I did finish up adding the new background option during gameplay. Now there's a sunset option in addition to night time, and I think it looks pretty good. The colors look better on the emulator and slightly different in ...
