Those are vertical sections or arbitrary height with inde...

Re: Uzebox AVCore+Baseboard Kit Selling Now!

Hey Andreas, - Are they available in Europe? - Do you already have PAL support? - How much is the price for Europe (including shipping) We have a potential distributor in Europe and, If all goes well, they should be available by end of November. No official PAL support yet, but we will probably have...

Re: The Crazy Ideas

I myself coming from an ARM7 background would favour the AT91SAM9261 that havok1919 has talked about in earlier posts I worked on a ARM7TDMI cpu doing GBA stuff a few years back and found it quite fun & powerful. Is the AT91SAM9261 fully deterministic? These devices all have data and instructio...

Re: Dont like the UZEbox

Oh yeah, forget to mention it. Clay is trying to do a PAL version and add a second crystal (PAL color bust freq) just to drive the AD723. If the horizontal timing is close enough that may work. However PAL and NTSC have some key differences: -625 lines vs 525 for NTSC so I'm unsure LCD tvs would loc...

Re: The Crazy Ideas

The problem with the MCU for this and MCU for that is you get creep until you have 5 microcontrollers just to play pacman. Can't agree more. I initially took that route, but that became a nightmare to develop for. Clay mentioned the sync and communication issues and he's right. I absolutely needed ...

Re: Anyone with Eagle files?

Great! Thanks, I'd like to have em' too. It's a good opportunity to learn how to make a PCB and if I have a starting point, that's great. :P

Re: Uzebox AVCore+Baseboard Kit Selling Now!

Yeah you're right, the schematic is a bit out of date (eh, it's only been there two months ;) ). Clay, is the designer the AVCore module with SNES, SD interface and simplified video DAC. His latest schematic is available here and is now the official baseline, so I'd stick to that one. I've been work...
