Re: Help! (By playing a game. ;-)
Heeheehee... Took me long enough. ;-) 157,600! Thanks for the help everyone, we've gone from 3rd to up to 1st! It must be really, really close though-- we've traded places with Arcade Infinity a few times today alone. Going to be interesting to see how this shapes up in the long run. (The contest do...

Re: Help! (By playing a game. ;-)
Thanks for playing for us! ;-) Yeah, the arcade scene is interesting. Portland, OR seems to have a good gaming culture. Our "classics" approach keeps us from having to buy or lease whatever the latest deluxe driver is for $30K+ as soon as it comes out... We own all our machines and do our ...

Re: Help! (By playing a game. ;-)
Geez... I was going to post and brag up my 139,700! The game definitely takes a "you're done playing now" turn about there. I've made it *to* Herd 30, but never past. (Herd 30 is a screen full of those brown/grey guys.)
Thanks for the help!

Help! (By playing a game. ;-)
Hey All, As some of you know, one of my other hats is as one of the owners of a 'classic' arcade here in Portland, OR-- http://www.groundkontrol.com Anyway, we're one of three finalists in Stride Gum's "Save the Arcades 2" promotion. Up for grabs is a $25K grand prize to the winner (which ...

Re: Adventures Of Lolo
(Sorry for the slow reply-- got sucked into "real work" for a while there. Taking a break now.) I don't think our game ever really had a marketing name, although I think we referred to it as "Project Atlantis" or something like that. It was an underwater side-scroller where you h...

Re: Atmega1284P 40-pin DIP available
Hey, cool! That's interesting/disturbing all at the same time. (Interesting in that it should be the same die as the QFN, so you'd think they'd behave the same... Disturbing in that it might come down to different chips/combinations that work or don't.)

Re: Adventures Of Lolo
Don't want to jack your thread, but I just had to comment on the whole Lolo thing. :D I have some Lolo trivia you guys might appreciate. Back in the day (circa 1989) the uncle of one of my highschool friends worked for HAL America (VP of marketing, maybe?). My fried (Cameron) and I wanted to get in ...

Re: Any news on the ATmega1284?
I've seen the '1284 (non-picoPower design) mentioned in some datasheet comparisons, but I don't see it available (I guess it was cancelled?). Also, I've seen Uze claim instability on some '644's - is the point of the LED test to remove the possibility that the chip Clay is testing has this instabil...
