Re: NEW GAME ALERT: Würgertime v1.0

We did a test with a Würgertime arcade on an anime convention last week. I found people first don't understand the controls doesn't require them to move pixel-perfect . Instead, if you are on a platform, select a direction and then move up or down and the cook will run in the selected direction unti...

Re: NEW GAME ALERT: Würgertime v1.0

Finally! I've found the time to complete Würgertime into a full, playable game. It has still a lot of bugs, please test it. Sources at https://github.com/ianka/wuergertime I will continue to add documentation at http://ianka.github.io/wuergertime/ Features: 99 Levels Level editor in tools/leveledito...

Re: Sound Effects for Würgertime

Thanks for your help!

Both versions are fine.

It don't have to be the same sounds at all. Just something which may fit. I doubt they have Mr. Mustard and the mess he makes in them :P.

Re: Sound Effects for Würgertime

Honestly, because of the deadline I would be glad if anyone could supply some (existing) sound effects which matched more or less. I can supply a sample hex/uze file with the current gameplay for reference. There are some actions within the level which could make a noise: next cook burger stomp burg...

Sound Effects for Würgertime

Hi all. I'm in a pickle. I want to present Würgertime at a convention on April, 12th, and I got all things done but sound effects, music and more levels. A friend even made a themed arcade cabinet for it. I tried to create some sound effects for Würgertime with Lee's patchtool but I'm too nervous to...

Re: New bootloader

Thank you. I will try that in late April and give you feedback them. (I have to complete the Würgertime game first, there is a deadline.)

Re: Game size problem with bootloader.

It's not a problem, I will figure it out how to get MMC running myself, or I ask Snowcat for help. SD2IEC does both. Though, no code size restraints over there.

Re: New bootloader

I understand SDHC and FAT32 are more important to almost all people than MMC and FAT16. The old bootloader even had problems with most SDSC cards I could get my hands on. Those MMC cards came as a problem solver. To avoid the size problem, I try to tackle it with alternative source code. It's just a...

Re: New bootloader

Does anyone experience situations when the old bootloader can detect and use a card while this new one can not? (I am still trying to go after what happens on ry775's hardware). An obvious thing could be ancient MMC cards which have no ACMD41 implemented, I am looking for anything beyond that. Yes,...

Re: Game size problem with bootloader.

Ok, it works. Thanks all!

What is a bit sad is MMC compatibility is lost. It just says "INSERT SD CARD".

I say this because I have a pile of old 16MB and 32MB MMC cards which had no other use than Uzebox and SD2IEC.
