Re: still cannot read from SD Card

Ok, I checked everything, and it tested fine, I found an old 1.8GB SD card in my car today, and decided to try it. So I formated it fat16, and downloaded the game 2048.uze. The Uzebox promptly worked, and I was able to read the SD card. I wrote to Adafruit support, informing them that the SD card wa...

Re: still cannot read from SD Card

Thanks for the enhanced photo D3thAdd3r. I have checked the solder connections, and made sure there is no short. Im going to try and find some old SD cards. I removed the shielding from the SD card yesterday, and tried clamping the SD card in place. the same symptoms persisted. are other file system...

Re: still cannot read from SD Card

Well, I tried a new 2GB card, and cloned the old disk image to the new disk. The only discernible difference, is that now there is a red line flashing on the game loader page. The games on the disk still do not show up. no amount of wiggling, squeezing, or shimming, seems to make a difference to eit...

still cannot read from SD Card

Hello All, I have reviewed my build of an Uzebox v1.3.1 (from adafruit) boot loader 0.4.5. I have tested continuity, and voltages on the components connecting to the SD card, and formated an reformatted the SD card. Despite the appearance that all is in order, the SD card does not communicate with t...

what hardware version do I have?

How do I tell what hardware version I have?
I noticed my hardware varies from the pictures in my instruction set.
I looked on the board, but did not identify any markings that list a version.

I can post a picture in a little while.

Re: Newb here!

OK So I just accessed the game loader, and it says "no disk" or "SD Init fail" something like that. I checked the file system, and it is a FAT16, and tried defrag both via dumping and rewriting the files and by using the command: $sudo dosfsck -w -r -l -a -v -t /dev/mmcblk0p1 (li...
