Not able to search on word "basic"

Occasionally I like to check up on UzeBox to see if any higher level languages have appeared. Sadly, when I tried searching on "basic" the forum software claimed it was "too common".

Is there any way this can be changed?

Sorry, I cannot see the big difference between C and BASIC here. With the tight memory and timing requirements of uzebox, it's absolutely inevitable to know what you are doing, regardless which programming language you use. What people expect from having BASIC on a computer is that this BASIC hides...

A relaxed, more human language such as BASIC is definitely easier. Even the Atari 2600 has batari Basic. There is no reason for Uzebox to not have a BASIC compiler other than existing developer preference. So, the catch 22 here is that an outsider with both C and compiler experience must be willing ...

I hope they're the kits where you stack the two parts together and go. Like I said in the Hardware thread, I think the Uzebox needs to inch closer to the beginner a little more for broader appeal.

No more AVCores..

I don't see a good way to obtain a ready made or easily (no solder) assembled Uzebox. No one has AVCore modules anymore. I'm not going to spend hundreds for a Supergun and Jamma Uzebox combination. Am I missing something?
