Re: Uzebox 3D?
When I tried them eons ago the Sega Master System goggles seemed to work awesome, but there's not the many around so I image the go for a ton of $, I've heard the Vectrex ones worked great too but those are ridiculously expensive. Being just two solid LCD shutters that need to be timed right, I woul...

Re: Uzebox 3D?
Oh no game in particular. The idea about somehow getting 3D with Uzebox popped into my head while reading about an insanely rare arcade game called Wyvern F-0, which fortunately the ROMs for have been recovered and safely preserved through MAME. It originally used two monitors for a pseudo-3D effect...

Uzebox 3D?
Has anyone toyed with the idea of figuring out how to make the games look 3D? It seems to me some of the setups that used goggles with LCD shutters over each eye worked pretty good, but obviously it would involving either recycling goggles from other systems or coming up with a custom design, and pe...

Multi AVR processor support?
This might be a dumb question as I'm a newbie to this sort of thing, but would it be possible to contruct a dual or even quad AVR supporting version of Uzebox, thus expanding the capabilities?

Re: Gamemaker-like front end programming GUI?
I don't know how it works with this being open source, but if it came out very user friendly, used all the Uzebox's capabilities and wasn't too expensive I don't doubt people (including myself) would probably be willing to pay for it. Personally I've always wanted to make my own original coin operat...

Re: Gamemaker-like front end programming GUI?
The only GUI thing we have, as far as I remember, is LePlatz . The thing about gamemaker is that you are programing a game, even though you don't think that you are. You have to lay down the game logic just like with any other toolset and programing language, but instead of typing it as words, you ...

Gamemaker-like front end programming GUI?
No doubt this has been considered before and I know it's an easy suggestion to make from somebody whom doesn't really know how to program  , but has anybody looked into the idea of making a Gamemaker-like game building GUI for the Uzebox/Uzebox JAMMA? It would certainly tear open wide the mark...
