Re: Uzebox 3D printed enclosure!
I think I found the issue. Long story short, the hole actually ignored the tolerances and was exactly the same diameter as the logo in all version. Sorry for that, try those new ones starting with the 50u. I tried the 50u today and its pretty close, just slightly too narrow. I've been testing with ...

Re: Minimal 64x4
Neat project! Reminds me of Steve Chamberlain's BMOW1 computer that did something similar with color VGA, OS and all...15 years ago! Check it out, it has pretty cool images of the wirewrap backplane. As one of the commenter said: "you might be nuts. but in a good way." Btw, Steve was...

Re: CUzeBox - The new official Uzebox emulator
I totally understand Jubatian. I dont have a lot of free mental cycles left anymore for any non trivial uzebox stuff. Hopefully I can catch a break someday. So I also agree that the best course of action is to merge cuzebox in the uzebox repo to keep it alive and building on the solid foundation mad...

Re: Uzebox 3D printed enclosure!
What did you say is the tolerance of the cover thats in the repo, 150 micron? Can't remember ...150u or 200u. Lets try again with a few more microns - 120 or 125 maybe? I think I found the issue. Long story short, the hole actually ignored the tolerances and was exactly the same diameter as the log...

Re: Keyboard adapter v2?
Currently, the keyboard interface uses an attiny to translate between ps2 protocol and the "uzebus" protocol (essentially the same as the snes mouse) via P2 port. That's it. Since PS/2 devices control the serial clock, they can't be connected directly to the 644 (uart/spi already taken). I...

Re: Uze's generative AI thread
I took all the RAM in mode 3 just for the player. So I would definitely use one of Jubatian's modes that offers much more sprites.Do you think you would use the same video mode you had used in your Castlevania demo or would you start over using a different video mode?

Re: Uze's generative AI thread
As an amateur musician myself I totally understand the point that AI can't and shouldn't replace humans. More you listen to generated songs and more they sound a bit cliché. After all it's trained on existing stuff. The day it starts creating new and original music...that will be really scary! In th...

Re: Uze's generative AI thread
They are overloaded so you'll have to pay that 10$ for a month it seems. That said, honestly, it's so fun and totally worth it, do it.
