Re: MOD playback
I don't believe it is released unfortunately. Thanks Lee again for bringing me back, I saw the thread while browsing on my proto uzebox computer :ugeek:. It's been a long time since the code was written but I believe it was actually released as the XM module processor , a superset of the MOD format...

Re: Insane Contraption
Watching this silently! Seems like it is a lot more difficult to get myself developing the emulator than soldering stuff together (now that I have the equipment for it). Btw, although i'm not posting on the forums, it doesn't mean i'm doing nothing. ;) One thing I discovered lately to help developme...

Re: Intellivania: Castlevania for the Intellivision!
Wow, that is really awesome. I love so much to see creative folks finding news ways to squeeze out even more juice out of the same old cpu released 40 years ago. Just like the Uzebox community did over the years!! When I compare Megatris released in 2008 with the technical feats of Lee, Jubatian and...

Re: 3D GLASSES IMPROVEMENT
Well, you may need some external microcontroller to deal with the usb or wireless interface, but yeah if they are plain shutter glasses, I can't see any reason they would not work. Then your game would display a slightly different picture for each field. That's a pretty cool idea in fact.

Re: A few fun text adventures
I like that format, reminds me of a series of books when I was younger (sorry, it's in french). It would give you a page number to go based on your choice with a bit of random here and there. Was full of awesome pictures here and there. Eh, combining your SPI ram graphics mode with the 80 cols mode ...

Re: The site is under attack
Ok guys, I think I fixed the problem for now. Looking at the detailed access logs, the site was indeed under attack from a shitload of leeches bot and crawlers mainly from China. I cannot understand why the same bots were recrawaling the whole site every 10 minutes or so. Anyhow, I banned them all u...

Re: The site is under attack
Space Spartans was amazing when I was a kid, and still does with all the controls it had. +1 for Space Spartans! I don't think you'd need another chip for the voice. The simplest would be to have a SD file with all the words sampled in it and just stream them Uzeamp style. I would be glad to help y...

Re: 80 column text mode at quite high resolution
Each row has to end with a null byte (memory is 81x25) to jump-table out of the sequence so I only got 127 characters usable. Ha, I arrived with the same solution with my last version with the attribute bit! :ugeek: But I will trash it and use Jubatian's, looks pretty good and the size of the tiles...

Re: The site is under attack
You can check the stats for the site. I don't have much more info available I think. I can't understand why the forums and possibly the wiki and other pages are hammered like that. Makes no sense, maybe some bots found a weakness in the PHP code and is exploiting it somehow. Maybe the crawlers tries...
