Re: Intellivania: Castlevania for the Intellivision!

I had an Intellivision as a kid...and it was definitely primitive by any standards. It had some really good games (Bump N' Jump, Shark! Shark!, Beauty and the Beast...to name a few.)

But what is in that video blows all of it out of the water. I have no idea how it was accomplished.

Intellivania: Castlevania for the Intellivision!

I just stumbled across this this morning, and couldn't resist sharing. This looks like an amazing port/demake of Castlevania.

32blit handheld

Dunno if anyone saw this, but it definitely caught my eye. It's a handheld console based on an ST ARM chip, brought to you by the folks at Pimoroni. They've already met their funding goals, so now it's just all stretch goals at this point. Anyways, take a minute to check it out if you get a chance: ...

Re: Uzebox 128+

Even if I need to use 2 of these for stereo, it's much better than my current solution: https://www.adafruit.com/products/987 It was almost $10 + $10 shipping. And it's not the price that bothers me, but the fact that it has limited gain selection. I had a hard time finding anything that takes a pot...

Re: Uzebox 128+

Holy crap! Where'd you find that Audio Amp Deathadder? And what's the P/N? I'm working on a handheld project, and after trial and error with a few different (expensive) pre-built amps, settled on one from Adafruit that still doesn't quite meet my needs. I'd love to get my hands on some of these to t...

Re: Playing patches from RAM

Excellent work Neboso! I personally can't wait to see a Uze-tracker (Famitracker clone) made out of your hard work. As I've always said, sound/music creation has been my weak point in relation to the Uzebox. Lowering the barrier of entry is always welcome. Thanks, and I look forward to your progress...

Re: Issue when rendering sprites

I believe uzebox.act is just the Uzebox palette in Photoshop format.

I'm a Gimp man myself, so I'm not sure, but last I recall - .ACT is for Photoshop.

Re: Let's Unite, Broskies!!!!

I've been working on the Uzebox's killer app for roughly 3 years ;P Seriously though, I plan on getting my game to a playable state to show proof of concept, and then releasing a preview to get some help and feedback from the community. All I have so far is graphics and gameplay - I have yet to find...

Re: Freaking. Awesome.

Welcome Baser-B! The Uzebox community is a small but dedicated group, I think you'll find this pretty engaging. Be sure to read up through the forums and Wiki, and then jump in with the Emulator and coding until you can get your hands on some hardware. Best of luck! -Flecko PS - I love my Ouya, stil...

Re: forum issue

I use that button a lot, and it works fine for me.

It only applies to sub-forums I believe though, not the main forum.
Best of luck,
