Re: DIY Uzebox / SNES arcade joystick

I've updated the first post to add: 4 X 25 mm length flat head screws The Thingiverse Details page for this stick recommends M4 12 mm screws but they seem to be too small to be of any real use so I used 25 mm long flat head screws to screw the base in place. I screwed one of these 25 mm screws into ...

Re: Hyperkin SNES mouse issues

I broke out all timing so that it can optionally be overriden in the makefile on a per element basis. I'm going to go with what I think are reasonably safe timings for Hyperkin as defaults, and later on it might be discovered how to save few more cycles. You didn't say much about the results I post...

Re: DIY Uzebox / SNES arcade joystick

Setting Cura's Z Seam Alignment print setting to random did fix the issue I had with visible seams / banding along a couple of the corners of my first print so I have updated the first post to highlight the need to change this setting to avoid a simiar fate. I have also updated the photos of the ins...

I'm fine with that.

Re: How many Uzeboxes have you built?

I thought CF might've built a few but not 105 so maybe that is the record? Uze's 300+ Uzeboxes that I mentioned may have mostly or all been sold as kits so Uze probably didn't build 300+? Seems CF is quite keen to re-enforce his position as head Uzebox makererer. The other person who will be in the ...

Re: How many Uzeboxes have you built?

105!

That's some hardcore Uzeboxery CF! I would suspect that means Lee will take third place then as I doubt he's made that many.

How many Uzeboxes have you built?

So far I have built one fully working Uzebox 1.3.3 and four Uzebox Omegas. I will soon be building my sixth Uzebox in order to test the new Omega PCB, when Thorsten uploads it. Most people will have only built one Uzebox, if they have ever Uzeboxed, so five probably puts me pretty high up in the Uze...

Re: Peripheral Tester

I think you're right that 2 actual host system mice isn't reasonable in emulation. But let's consider something I'd like to build, a 2 player Missile Command! Or Warlords, it would suck being stuck digital. If the user has 1 or more analog gamepads, it would be nice to offer that option. Having mor...

Re: New computer

Great to hear Defender is in progress.

It seems like an optimum game for the Uzebox and its spec. Most of the other 8 bit platforms don't have enough buttons to do a proper conversion. Defender has a sizeable fan club so having the best 8 bit Defender version would be a notable win.
